Wirral and Chester Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Group Our principal objective is to provide disabled people in the Wirral and Chester area with the opportunity to ride to benefit their health and wellbeing at the level of their ability, choice and ambition. In the year ending March 2010 we gave 4065 rides to 254 riders from the Wirral and Chester area. They range in age from 5 to over 70. We operate from two riding schools - Foxes Riding School in Ledsham and Wirral Riding Centre in Ness. We are all unpaid volunteers so there are virtually no administration costs. Over 96% of all money raised goes directly to pay for ride fees which we get at reduced rates to fund events for our riders. Insurance and special equipment takes care of the rest.
